Starting the hat on the small circular needles...Hi! Starting the hat on the small circular needles is a little hard but I was able to force it together. After it's together I found knitting the rest is a lot easier. Once I started decreasing the rows at the end of the hat, it becomes a little harder but I was able to finish. You might find a better patten on ravelry, if this one doesn't work out for you. Jenny N. You stated to use size 4 circular needles...this may be a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time joining the work on the circular needles as it seems the work is too small for the needles (does that make sense?).
