Quilt for Baby Provenzale-McVey

Two of my friends are expecting a baby soon. (End of September/ early October). I wanted to make them a handmade gift, but finding time to do that was a little hard. So I decided to take a faster route in order to get the quilt finished in time. I put cotton batting between two pieces of fabric and hand stitched them together using black and green perle cotton then added some binding. I have had the lion/tiger fabric for awhile & I've been waiting for the perfect reason to use it.

This is Coordinates in Saffron by Anna Maria Horner and it's part of the Field Study Collection.

This is Lions and Tigers in Gold by Ed Emberly and it's part of the Happy Drawing Collection.

I can't wait for baby Provenzale- McVey to get here. Eva & Justin will be amazing parents! xo
